Hospital and Medical Facilities
A Hospital used the ZipWall barrier system and Tight Sealâ„¢ accessories to section off their facility from a construction zone. The ZipWall® system was used to build an 85 foot corridor in under 30 minutes. Heavy Duty Zippers allowed hospital personnel access to equipment during construction. The hospital remained fully operational, while the safety of patients and employees was ensured.

A temporary corridor was needed to transport construction material through a sanitization room. The ZipWall® dust barrier system with Foam Rail Tight Sealâ„¢ accessories was used to prevent contamination during construction.

The first wall is put up in minutes. Foam Rail cross bars are overlapped to provide a tight seal along the ceiling, while Side Packs provide a tight seal at the wall. Heavy Duty Zippers are used to create worksite access to equipment for hospital personnel.
Dan Hughes, a contractor remodeling a medical office building, used the ZipWall® Barrier System to allow the hospital to remain fully functional throughout the job. The receptionist is able to work throughout the construction process.

These pictures were taken before the introduction of Tight Seal accessories. Now, a contractor can simply raise the Foam Rail cross bars and use Side Pack wall mounts to create a tight seal top to bottom.
